Recent Projects: TWISTY TABLE

The Maryland Science Center had need for a Tilty Table to display highly detailed satellite pictures, but wanted the ability to zoom, so we developed what we called the Twisty Table, a Tilty Table with zoom capability. As the user twists the table counterclockwise, the image zooms out to reveal a menu of choices. Tilting the table selects the choices, and then twisting clockwise zooms the image back in, down to where you can see individual cars in the photgraphs.
One favorite activity of visitors is to look at current geological disturbances such as hurricanes or wildfires. Onomy Labs provides a web interface to the museum so that staff and docents are able to keep the content up to date and tied to the latest news. |
